Satpura Hills Trek Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Pachmarhi → Drive to Trailhead → Trek to First Campsite (8-10 km, 4-5 hrs trek)

  • Arrive in Pachmarhi, the gateway to the Satpura Hills.
  • Meet the trek team and drive to the starting point of the trek.
  • Begin trekking through lush sal and teak forests, crossing small streams and rocky trails.
  • Reach the first campsite, nestled in the heart of Satpura’s wilderness.
  • Enjoy a relaxing evening with a bonfire and stargazing.
  • Overnight stay in tents.

Day 2Trek to Chauragarh Peak (6-7 km, 4-5 hrs trek) → Explore the Temple → Return to Campsite

  • Start the ascent towards Chauragarh Peak, one of the highest points in Satpura.
  • Hike through dense forest trails and stone steps leading to the ancient Chauragarh Temple.
  • Witness breathtaking views of the Satpura ranges from the summit.
  • Spend time exploring the temple and soaking in the panoramic landscapes.
  • Trek back to the campsite, unwind with a peaceful evening under the stars.
  • Overnight stay in tents.

Day 3Trek to Bee Falls & Dhoopgarh Sunset Point (8-10 km, 5-6 hrs trek)

  • Trek through scenic trails to reach the famous Bee Falls, a stunning cascading waterfall.
  • Enjoy some refreshing time near the falls before continuing the journey.
  • Hike towards Dhoopgarh, the highest point in Madhya Pradesh, known for its magical sunsets.
  • Witness a breathtaking sunset over the Satpura ranges, creating a mesmerizing golden skyline.
  • Descend back to the campsite for the final night in the wild.
  • Overnight stay in tents.

Day 4Trek Back to Trailhead → Drive to Pachmarhi → Departure

  • Begin the final descent, trekking through serene forest trails.
  • Reach the trailhead and drive back to Pachmarhi.
  • Enjoy a farewell breakfast and reminisce about the adventure.
  • Trip ends with unforgettable memories!
