The Kedarkantha Trek in Uttarakhand is one of the most popular winter treks in India. Rising to an altitude of 12,500 ft, this easy to moderate trek is known for its scenic beauty and panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The trail passes through dense pine and oak forests, picturesque clearings, and charming mountain villages. The summit offers breathtaking views of the Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Black Peak. Perfect for beginners and seasoned trekkers alike, Kedarkantha is a magical experience, especially when the trail is covered in snow.

Day 2Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

  • Trek Distance: 4 km | Time: 4-5 hours
  • Trek through dense pine and maple forests.
  • Reach Juda Ka Talab, a frozen lake amidst snowfields.
  • Camp overnight near the lake.

Day 3Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp
