The Dayara Bugyal Trek in Uttarakhand is one of the most picturesque meadow treks in India. Situated at an altitude of around 12,000 ft, this easy to moderate trek offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks like Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and Srikanth. The trail passes through dense oak and rhododendron forests, leading to expansive meadows that look heavenly when covered in snow during winter. This trek is perfect for beginners and nature lovers who want to experience the serene beauty of the Himalayas.

  • Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Barsu.

Day 2Barsu to Barnala Tal to Dayara Bugyal

  • Trek Distance: 8 km | Time: 5-6 hours
  • Trek through dense oak and rhododendron forests.
  • Visit Barnala Tal, a small lake with serene surroundings.
  • Continue to Dayara Bugyal with expansive meadows.
  • Camp overnight amidst beautiful alpine meadows.

Day 3Explore Dayara Bugyal

  • Leisure day to explore the vast meadows of Dayara Bugyal.
  • Panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, and other Himalayan peaks.
  • Optional hike to Bakaria Top for 360-degree mountain views.
  • Overnight camping at Dayara Bugyal.

Day 4Dayara Bugyal to Barsu
